There are only IB classes offered as the school is an International Baccalaureate school, no AP classes, however, there are Dual Enrollment classes that are affiliated with NOVA to receive college credit. This class made me feel confident in my future.While I love Grassfield, it's not perfect. Overall, I enjoyed going to this school and would not want to have gone anywhere else.I grew up within the Chantilly High School area, therefore I have always been familiar with the community. Chantilly HS has been so far an exciting and good experience. There is such a strong community where staff and students make sure everyone feels safe. Being able to attend Stonewall Jackson for all four years of high school, I learned that this school is safer than all the other high schools located in the area. The people are great and all my teachers teach well. Sports games are fun to watch, and clubs are a great way to be involved as well. They should encourage more students to take AP classes and have events talking about college to minorities. He also loves going to memory period. From the social environment, to the clubs, to the academics, and fine arts, Rock Ridge truly has a place for all student from all backgrounds. I would highly recommend the Dual Enrollment classes here, specifically DE US/VA History and Government. It has a strong band program, and I'm a member of its Symphonic Band as well as the schools marching band. I started off very well in my freshman and softmore years. Although who knows what the future brings us, especially with how difficult the world is now.Before Woodbridge, I attended Gar-Field, another highschool in the district, and found a home at Woodbridge. Obviously the high school experience is different for everyone, but this school has a lot to offer in terms of student life, community involvement, and academics. The only thing bad about it is the lack of diversity.
Make it count!Extremely competitive environment. Champe has many interactive in-school activities for the students and it gets us all very excited! I also participate in Varsity Basketball and Varsity Soccer. There are so many opportunities available for students - the number of clubs is comparable to some colleges. I do genuinely love this school.
There is a great sense of community throughout the school. There's a bathroom and water fountain around almost every corner. There were tons of programs, clubs, and teams offered here allowing for students to pursue whatever interests they had. There are a lot of clubs you can chose from too, like the robotics club, computer club, interact club, book club, debate club, etc. It also has a variety of optional courses; even including guitar classes, cooking classes, computer classes, writing classes, and more. With each year I spend here, this school proves that it cares.I go to a college-prep school; it has four classes per semester and a lot of help on finding colleges, which is a major stress-reliever. This school is where I found myself! Lastly, teachers provide a warm environment where it is both educational and welcoming.So far I have had a great experience with the school!
