Date: 10th January 2017 Category: School Camp Resources. The simple answer is YES. John was a great guide, food was delicious the company was great. It must be able to withstand a sudden storm, and large enough for the number of people intending to use it. I really can’t say enough positive things about the excursion and our guide, John. This trip will be challenging, and you will be expected to carry upwards of 40lbs/18kgs, hiking uphill in uneven terrain (roots, rocks, small stream crossings), for up to 6 hours in 1 direction.We're happy to answer any questions you have about this trip.

The view on the top of the mountains was great, just a bit too cloudy. First time out with these guys I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up, but they helped make me feel comfortable and safe the whole time. The Duke of Edinburgh award is a great way to teach youth valuable team work and leadership skills The adventurous journey portion teaches in-depth Backcountry and wilderness skills that participants can use on their own trips in the future. Please note that in order to join the qualifying journey, participants must have completed the practice session first.
