I’m working on a few organizational updates to better manage collections, but as soon as I get this next big update out, I’ll work on adding in an auto-counting setting for soft reset hunts. Pokétch is the best Pokémon companion app to track, calculate, and enhance various features of in-game play such as shiny hunting and competitive battling. This would save you from the hassle of having to tap each time since the soft reset is set at a specific time every time.
This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.Pokétch currently includes only ShinyApp with many more trackers and calculators planned for future releases.It’s everything you could ever want in a shiny hunting app, only thing that bothers me is that the shiny rates for SOS battling in sun/moon aren’t right. The only thing that would make this app even better is for people who are soft resetting for a specific shiny by adding a timer that automatically adds +1 to your shiny encounters for whatever time you put the timer at. Get this app while signed in to your Microsoft account and install on up to ten Windows 10 devices. Some of the controls are very confusing though. Thank you!

It's fine if you're on try 20 or something, but at 400 you just want to go back one and resume your hunt. If you like to have extremely rare Pokémons, with a different color shape and little sparkles, this gameplay is for you.
Works nicely and allows you to save your shiny hunt count to come back to later, but it doesn't display the chance of encountering a shiny at your radar count, and doesn't prevent the phone from lockingI have read some of the stupidest comment on here.

Its definitely helpful because when you close out of the app, it saves the progress when you press," Take a break" and will be there when you get back.Pretty good app, helps me keep track of my shiny hunting, and since I am a pretty serious hunter (I've gotten about 45 shinies so far) I like to use it to help break the monotony of soft resetting (what it calls static resets) or Masuda methoding. An awesome Pokémon app. Like it says that it has a odds calculator which is confusing, does it mean with all of that Pokémon you have caught does it calculate the chance of spotting one or does it just show you like for instance 1 in a 1000?
