I researched day and night, found the GAPS diet, boiled my beef bones, ate my organ meats, sipped my FCLO and cultured veggie juice and finally started to heal.Honestly, it was not easy, but it was worth every minute of my time and energy!

I absolutely love your web site and have been looking for a gluten free bread for sandwiches. I love the bread and I have made it several times, but it never rises more than about 20% (max) from its raw volume. I'm not making any substitutions. I like to use cashews in gf baking because they have such a subtle flavor. Baking soda and baking powder cannot be interchanged as they have specific properties. I’ll have to file this for later…when I’m no longer allergic to eggs and vanilla.Pat, the day will come hopefully after some gut healing. But recently reading about the whole plant base diet decided to at least add more of it to our diets (specially my husband's) and even though it has only been a month we've been adding more whole foods and vegetables to our diets and cutting the frequency of meats and dairy appear in our meals we have noticed a remarkable improvement in the way we feel, we have more energy, we're sleeping better, less digestion problems and allergies as well, but definitely I take all information out there with a grain of salt, since there's so much controversy about what's good or bad for us, it's a trial and error kind of thing :) Thanks for sharing this recipe. A hint of cinnamon tingles your tongue, while the smell of fresh banana cake dances around your nose.The old-school banana bread gets pushed aside for the moment while this superstar takes center stage.

Don’t underestimate the power of real food, my mom healed her bipolar by doing GAPS/ real food diet!I tell friends and family exactly how it is. You might want to lower the temp by 25 degrees and it will definitely need to bake longer.

It's so much better than the egg white breads recommended on primal diets. It is NOT easy!!!

I prefer to eat cold bone “jello” rather then warming it up. Many use flaxseeds, but flaxseed oil has a very low smoking point, so I don't recommend baking with it. I can just feel her energy, and it’s wonderful that she will reach so many people her age with her Real Food message. :) I am looking forward to grain-free English muffin.

I'll be honest. Hi Kristine, my recipes take into account the Autoimmune Protocol as well as mostly GAPS recipes, which is why I don’t use ingredients such as nut flour.

Hi Carrie, I have made this bread several times and I like this grain free bread. Is gelatin absolutely necessary? here is the recipe I use to make it Carrie Michelle — Seems to me like you could use any nut butter. I can't wait to try this recipe, it looks great. Is there any substitution for gelatin?

On good days I would light up the world, but on bad ones, I wanted to crawl in a tunnel and let the world go on without me.I realize now, that the world needs me! The recipe I use calls for almond flour which gives the “bread” (we actually call it cake) a very nice texture. I make it every time my bananas get a little over done.
