Needs at least 3 weeks to trap enough mosquitoes to make an impact, and 6 weeks to break the breeding cycle I really hoped this would end our mosquito and fly problem, but it was $100 spent for nothing. We took this with us on our big annual camping trip with friends. I still can't attribute whether this machine did it or because it has been so dry, but it does catch many insects.

They first sent me a replacement bulb, but after that did not fix the issue they opted to send me a whole new unit and insisted that I kept my old unit for parts to increase the new units life span. I wanted some relief so I purchased this trap. The other way to generate sufficient CO2 would be to include a CO2 regulator that accepts a common 16-25g CO2 cartridge or could be pumbed to a larger CO2 tank. I was AMAZED at how few mosquitoes we had this year.
Even so, it does work really well, so I can’t really complain. For the price, the product should have lasted much longer. Would highly recommend this product.

After 19 days of use, I emptied the container onto a piece of paper (see photo). To make a long story short... this is quite frankly one of the best purchases I have made in ages.
It’s been up for about two weeks and I have already noticed a difference while out and working in the yard. This machine is really a great product to help keep the bugs away from your outdoor life and you don’t have to fuss with it. The fan pulls and traps insects inside the basket.
It has a quiet fan and an easy to empty canister.The DynaTrap 1/2 acre has held up well for the past several weeks.
