A various tweak could work or we have to replace with paper destroyers.Tribal is a perfect candidate for tier IX or X, she is heavy armed and fast.I would disagree, Tribals would be much better at Tier VII. So I'm looking at what potential options I have to go for if I wanted to try and play a DD that's good at countering DD's whenever I run into them.Of the top of my head some really good ones that I can think of are as follows.Daring, Kitakaze, Harugumo, Mogador, Kleber (if you can position and ambush them that is), and maybe the Smalland?Småland has the most straighforward anti-DD setup, with Radar (up to 1.4km stealth radar if you spec CE), 30% speedboost and 2nd highest HE DPM out of every destroyer.It's only beaten out by Marceau and Kleber (with MBRB on), but these increase significantly in their Anti-DD capabilities based on how well one positions. Given the lack of disengagement tools they get punished quite hard for misplays.Daring is also a decent contender with its great self-utility in the form of the long duration hydro + quick reloading smokes.
